The basic course and the masterclass of Sennheiser’s seminars on wireless microphones and monitoring have been included on InfoComm’s list of renewal unit providers for their CTS certification programme. Independently verified by the American National Standards Institute and the International Electrotechnical Commission, this programme aims at educating and certifying A/V specialists, providing their customers with a tested and trusted partner.
For more than 30 years, InfoComm International has offered individuals the opportunity to become Certified Technology Specialists in the A/V industry. To retain any CTS certificate, its holders are required to undergo continuous education on A/V topics. A certification is valid for three years, and within this period of time, the technology specialist needs to win 30 renewal units (RU).
“We are very pleased that these two seminars on wireless microphones and monitoring will now also earn their participants a considerable amount of CTS renewal units,” said Kirsten Wessendorf, head of the Sennheiser Sound Academy at the company’s German head office. “The CTS certificate enjoys an excellent reputation in many countries across the globe, especially in the USA, Canada and the UK. Its holders are committed to professional growth and expertise.”Sennheiser seminars on wireless microphones and monitoring
The basic wireless seminar teaches participants the physics of wireless microphone technology and how to plan and operate fail-safe wireless systems. Other aspects are the right choice of wireless mics, the specific challenges of wireless monitoring systems, and an overview of potential errors and how to avoid them. This basic course will earn a participant 11 CTS RUs.
The masterclass (with 10.5 CTS RUs) places a special emphasis on creating and operating multi-channel systems. Participants will learn how to use RF management and configuration software, how to implement multichannel micro¬phone and monitoring systems, and gain an insight into specific wireless systems and solutions.
