Sennheiser launches the premium SD Series wireless headsets Optimized for Microsoft Lync at Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2013

Sennheiser, a leading provider of premium headset solutions, is today launching the SD Series wireless headsets, Optimized for Microsoft® Lync®. This new series of headsets is designed to improve the call quality and boost productivity for business professionals using Microsoft Lync. Sennheiser voice clarity and excellent wearing comfort bring hands-free freedom and premium sound quality to the North and Latin American markets.

Designed for business professionals with a need for high quality voice communications, the SD Wireless headset Series* offers Sennheiser voice clarity, providing users with a rich communications experience. In addition, the SD Series offers a range of ergonomically designed headsets delivering excellent wearing comfort even with extensive usage.

The series of headsets released at Microsoft WPC 2013 are: SD Office ML, SD Pro 1 ML and SD Pro 2 ML. SD Office ML is a single-sided premium wireless headset which enhances office mobility. The noise-cancelling microphone allows for increased productivity as the microphone filters out unwanted background noise. It also features two different wearing styles: ear hook and headband with the option to personalize the headset for wearing on either left or right ear.

SD Pro 1 ML and SD Pro 2 ML are single- and double-sided headsets offering users Sennheiser sound quality and product durability. With super soft and comfortable ear pads and an ultra noise-cancelling microphone, SD Pro 1 ML and SD Pro 2 ML are the perfect communications tools for business professionals even if working in noisy environments.

With any of the three headsets users can freely move around the office while com-municating throughout the day.

The three different headsets all employ the same base station which has been specifically designed for the North and Latin American markets. The base station comes in a plain black look with a clearly arranged interface which allows users to seamlessly switch between Microsoft Lync and a desk phone.

All Sennheiser SD Series Wireless headsets are equipped with the unique patented ActiveGard® technology to safeguard users against hazardous incoming sound surges that can be dangerous to the users hearing.

Additional features include full workday talk time - 8 hours in wideband sound mode and 12 hours in narrowband sound mode. With intelligent fast charging, the headset can re-charge 50% of battery in just 20 minutes.
