Biography
UK drummer Steve Barney has played with an impressive array of rock/pop royalty during his career.
Jeff Beck, Mike + The Mechanics, Sugababes, The Wanted, Kelis, Eagle-Eye Cherry & most recently with Japanese legend, HOTEI.
However, Barney is probably best known for touring with Eurythmics icon Annie Lennox & US vocal-powerhouse Anastacia.
His recording highlights include playing on Jeff Beck’s Grammy award-winning “Plan B” and Will Young’s UK number 1 song “Leave Right Now”.
A career defining moment was performing with Annie Lennox at London’s Live 8 Concert (Hyde Park) to an audience of 200,000 - a day in the life Steve will never forget.
